Dr. Dana Goldberg studied biology at the University of Notre Dame, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. During college she was a finalist in the Miss Ohio pageant, placing first in talent for classical piano, and she credits those years at the keys with the dexterity and hand control that would later define her work as a surgeon.
She earned her medical degree at The Ohio State University Medical Center, completed residency in both general and plastic surgery, and was named Intern of the Year before scoring in the 95th percentile among all board-certified plastic surgeons in the country. Any incision leaves some scar, but Dr. Goldberg places them in hidden or natural-crease locations and uses the finest sutures so they fade and stay discreet. How much they show also depends on your skin and genetics.
Surgical consultations are $200 and other appointments are $100. The fee becomes a credit on your account toward any product or service, so it goes straight toward your care.
Consultations with Dr. Goldberg are usually Mondays and Wednesdays, 9 to 5. Injectables, laser, CoolSculpting, CoolTone, and NeoGraft consults are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays. Saturday and evening visits are by appointment.
In-office procedures with no formal clearance can sometimes happen within one to two weeks, schedule permitting. Operating-room procedures usually need at least three weeks for clearance, and two to three months from consult is common.
Most non-surgical treatments are in the Jupiter office. Surgery is performed in the practice's own Level C AAAASF-accredited surgery center on the third floor of the same building, so you never go elsewhere.
For office treatments, topical numbing and a local anesthetic keep you comfortable, with ice and Tylenol afterward. For larger procedures, oral medication and nerve blocks at the time of surgery manage recovery, even under IV anesthesia.
Usually the first visit is a consultation to evaluate the area and plan treatment, and to give you time to weigh the decision. Some injections happen the same day, but most in-office procedures are scheduled within two to four weeks.
Returning to exercise depends on the procedure and how you heal. Dr. Goldberg gives you a personalized timeline at your follow-up visits, easing you from light movement back to full activity so you protect the result.
